“What we have done for ourselves alone dies with us; what we have done for others and the world remains and is immortal.” – Albert Pike
To the over 40 volunteers working in the heat and humidity of today; to the farmers and supporters of Farming 4 Hunger who supplied us with over 6,000 lbs. of fresh produce estimated to be worth over $7,500; to all who donated time to spread the word of today’s event to the food right here in our own community; to the many who prayed for favorable weather and a good outcome.
It is amazing how two little words can mean so much to over 140 families – THANK YOU! We are amazed, inspired, and truly grateful for the generosity of so many who contributed to the success of today.
